I'm a research scientist specialized in Bioinformatics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
Stages in my career took me to the Research Lab at Dynatrace, the Institute for Machine Learning (IML) at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, the Research Institute for Symbolic Computation (RISC), and the Computer Architecture department (DAC) at the University of Malaga. Currently, I am a member of the In-Silico Discovery team at Johnson & Johnson.
My research topics focus on Drug Discovery, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning and Machine Learning in general.
I've published at top AI machine learning conferences, in-journals and collaborated in edited books.
Furthermore, I'm also teaching the Deep Reinforcement Learning course at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU).
